In response to comments we have received regarding the preliminary proposed cost of solar PV for the draft Seventh Power Plan, we would like to hold a short meeting to discuss the most recent reports and trends and try to land on some realistic assumptions. Solar PV is a fast-moving technology that is continually affecting the market and cost of the resource. Since we need to have inputs for the draft Seventh Plan, we will need to put our “pencils down” relatively soon, with the caveat that we will be able to revisit assumptions again between the draft and final to see if there have been additional changes that we need to represent.
